Gigs for geeks
For an exciting project with an insurance company in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for an R quant developer.
This is a short-term project (ca. 3 mths, negotiable and depending on final requirements) that allows for lots of independence, solution design, and some flexibility in terms of working hours.
You will be using the data.tree package to simulate hierarchic re-insurance scenarios. We are still working out the details of the project. The earlier you apply, the more you can contribute to that early project phase, and thus the more you can help shape the way the project is run, organised, design, etc.
You need to be an experienced R developer with a quantitative background such as mathematics, finance, physics, etc.
Experience with data.tree is helpful, but not a must.
This is an ideal opportunity for e.g. someone who starts his PhD in fall, or who is between jobs. Or anyone who wants to add a great project to his CV while making good money and enjoying summer in lovely Switzerland.
